This morning, everything was just gorgeous. With all the texture on the mountains, you can see to some extent just how far they go. Usually they kind of blend together and look like one big crestline. I love days like this!
It was oddly beautiful and peaceful once I got off of the Diagonal Highway and onto Jay.
A half mile down, though, cross winds blew whiteness across the highway, making it hard to make out the road just in front of the car, let alone other vehicles or even the roadside ditches.
In this shot, the truck on the left has just sped across all the lanes and was gunning it down the highway, weaving through the cars. I don't know what happened to him, but you can see what the visibility was at that time. He had cut me off a mile earlier. Fucktard.
This was the only shot I took of traffic in town. In other places, there were busses stuck in snow drifts, cars spun out.
The picture I wish I took was of a bicyclist riding down the street. This is Boulder, and nothing stops a determined cyclist here.
